Systems Manager (Railway Segments Applications) (Ref: 240001F8)

Responsibilities

• Act as a technology partner to co-create and execute digital transformation roadmap and initiatives for Hong Kong Transport Services Business Unit to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency in alignment with business needs
• Lead a team and collaborate with other IT specialists to develop and deliver applications that optimise new railway station operations and ensure excellence in quality, adherence to timelines, and budgetary compliance
• Engage key stakeholders to address users’ concerns with business-aligned solutions and digital technologies such as mobile applications and AI-driven process enhancements
• Conduct research and collate market intelligence on service capabilities and industry trends, and make recommendations for business applications
• Monitor variances for projects and system support activities in responsible areas

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science / Information Systems / Engineering or a related discipline
• A minimum of 8 years’ relevant experience, of which 2 years should be at senior supervisory level
• Proven experience in implementing large scale applications with the use of digital technologies for various areas including customer services, workforce management, scheduling and planning
• Good technical knowledge of Cloud native architecture, such as Microservice architecture, Dockers, Dev Ops, No SQL, Mobile development (native and hybrid), Big Data Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Low Code Development
• Strong project management and problem-solving skills with abilities to manage stakeholders, vendors and contractors
• Strong presentation, analytical and communication skills in both written and spoken English and Chinese
