Vice President, Family Office

Invest HK is looking for a passionate, high-calibre, result-oriented professional to join its dedicated Family Office HK Team as Vice President, Family Office. In this exciting role, you will need to deploy your business development, marketing communications, event management, and stakeholder management skills to make an impact in driving client-centric initiatives around customer acquisition. If you are driven to help make Hong Kong a leading global hub for family offices (“FOs”), a key policy initiative in the Chief Executive’s 2022 Policy Address, this role represents a unique opportunity to help FOs from the Mainland and overseas set up and expand their presence in Hong Kong.
The Role
You will be responsible for contributing to your team’s overall key performance indicators and objectives. You will work closely with other Family Office HK Team members in Hong Kong, in the Mainland and overseas and collaborate with other sector teams at Invest HK Headquarters, as well as our global network in 34 cities around the world.
You will need to demonstrate:
(a) a good understanding of the UHNWIs/family offices segment;
(b) relevant experience in implementing targeted promotional activities to align with the team’s growth strategy and business priorities;
(c) strong project management and organisational skills;
(d) experience in collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders such as government bodies on business development and client support;
(e) ability to manage multiple touchpoints and respond quickly to changes in priorities;
(f) ability to work independently under pressure to meet performance targets and as a team player; and
(g) willingness to travel to the Mainland and overseas on investment promotion visits.
Duties
(a) To implement business development and multichannel marketing strategy to promote the intrinsic advantages and the unique position of Hong Kong as a family office hub in Asia;
(b) To assist in fostering relationships with external stakeholders including clients and industry partners, and collaborate with industry and local stakeholders to organise webinars and events to build network and develop a pipeline of family office targets;
(c) To support the team in various ways, such as media interviews, press materials writing, line-to-take preparation, providing in-depth analysis on global family offices trends, etc.;
(d) To co-ordinate with internal stakeholders such as sector teams at Invest HK and government bodies to formulate effective outreach programmes, and to establish and execute a roadmap to develop a conducive family office ecosystem in Hong Kong;
(e) To support family offices through a concierge approach that facilitates the development of a cohesive family office community; and
(f) To perform any other duties as assigned.
Entry Requirements
(a) Four years of relevant full-time work experience gained in project management or corporate account relationship management or event management, public relations or investment promotion in financial services industries;
(b) A Bachelor's degree from a Hong Kong university or equivalent; a higher degree in business administration, finance, economics, law, accounting or marketing would be an advantage;
(c) Knowledge and hands-on experience in marketing/ event management/ project management or experience working in financial institutions and/or professional firms in the Mainland or overseas would be an advantage; and
(d) Fluency in English, Cantonese and Putonghua is a must.
Terms of Appointment
Successful applicant will be appointed on non-civil service contract terms for three months and the term may be extended up to an accumulative period of not more than 24 months subject to satisfactory performance and at the discretion of Invest Hong Kong. Further renewal of contract will be subject to the service need of the department and the performance and conduct of the applicant.
Fringe Benefits
(a) An end-of-contract gratuity may be granted upon satisfactory completion of thecontract. Such gratuity, if granted, plus any contribution made by the Government to a Mandatory Provident Fund (MPF) scheme in respect of the appointee as required by the MPF Schemes Ordinance, will equal 15% of the total basic salary drawn during the contract period; and
(b) Applicant appointed will be granted 14 days of annual leave and the entitlement of annual leave will be calculated on pro-rata basis for appointment less than 12 months. Other benefits, such as rest days, statutory holidays (or substituted holidays), maternity/ paternity leave, sickness allowance, where appropriate, will be granted mainly in line with the provisions of the Hong Kong Employment Ordinance.

職責
(a) 執行業務發展和多渠道市場推廣策略,以提升香港作為亞洲家族辦公室樞紐的固有優勢和獨特地位;
(b) 協助促進與外部持份者(例如客戶及業界伙伴)的友好關係,並與業界和本地持分者合作,舉辦網上研討會和其他活動,以建立網絡並達成一系列家族辦公室目標;
(c) 在各方面為團隊提供支援,例如媒體訪問、撰寫新聞材料、擬備回應口徑,並對全球家族辦公室趨勢進行深入分析等;
(d) 與內部持份者(例如投資推廣署的行業專家小組及政府機構)協調,制定有效的外展計劃,制訂及執行發展藍圖,以在香港建立有利家族辦公室的生態系統;

入職條件
(a) 具備四年項目管理/企業客戶關係管理/活動策劃的相關全職工作經驗,或在金融服務行業取得公關或投資推廣的相關全職工作經驗;
(b) 持有香港任何一所大學所頒授的學士學位,或具同等學歷;持有工商管理、財務/金融、經濟、法律、會計或市場推廣的深造學位更佳;
(c) 具備市場推廣/活動策劃/項目管理的專業知識和實務經驗或具備在內地或海外的金融及/或專業服務機構工作經驗更佳;以及
(d) 必須操流利英語、廣東話及普通話。
聘用條款
獲錄取的申請人將按非公務員合約條款聘用,為期3個月。視乎申請人的良好工作表現,期滿後投資推廣署可酌情延長合約,惟累計不超過24個月。再次續約與否視乎屆時本署的服務需要及申請人的工作表現及品行而定。
福利
(a)受聘人如能圓滿地完成整個合約,並在合約期內一直維持良好的工作表現,可獲發一筆約滿酬金。該筆酬金,加上部門按照《強制性公積金計劃條例》的規定為受聘人向強制性公積金計劃所作的供款,將相等於受聘人在合約期內支取的基本薪金總額的15%;及
(b)可享有每年14天有薪年假。如合約期少於12個月,年假將按比例計算。受聘人亦可享有《僱傭條例》規定而又適用的其他福利,例如休息日、法定假日(或代替假日)、產假/侍產假和疾病津貼。
