ADP Microservice Developer Intern

About this opportunity
We are looking for an ADP Microservice Developer Intern to take part in developing, maintaining, and delivering high-quality software in the Data area, focusing on the development of KVDB RD microservice. Key Value Database RD provides a distributed key-value store and message broker based on Redis-Cluster and Valkey. Applications may use it as an in-memory database with support for many data structures (strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets with range queries, geospatial indexes, etc.) and/or as a lightweight message bus with support for streams and consumer groups. KVDB RD is managed by a Kubernetes operator for deployment, scaling and in-service upgrades. It supports replication and focuses on low latency, scalability and high availability. The Application Development Platform (ADP) Framework is the approved way forward for developing cloud-native applications within Ericsson, following a modern design pattern (microservice architecture based on containers).
Your role will include will focus on improving our tools, verifying processes and updating internal documentation. Our focus is on Lean and Agile ways of working. We organize multi-functional development teams in which continuous improvement and innovation are part of the daily work.

What you will do
- Contribute to the microservice test framework and continuous integration process
- Design, document and develop automated test cases
- Drive continuous improvements of documentation and processes
- Develop competence in the technical domain
- Experience with Linux environment
- Good command of English
- Ability to work in a team – we believe in cooperative solid teams instead of individual heroes
- Collaborative attitude – you will work with different groups in close collaboration
- Growth mindset, precision, persistence, and reliability
It's an advantage if you have
- Experience of designing cloud-native microservices using Docker and deploying in Kubernetes using Helm
- Experience in the use of development management systems and build tools like Jenkins, Artifactory, Gerrit, Git
- Experience with Go/Helm/Robot
