Airbus Defence & Space is looking for a Customer Service and Operational Support Manager (f/h) to join our Satellite Imaging Customer Service based in Budapest, Hungary.
You will be part of a team developing our worldwide network of customers in optical and radar satellite imagery. As part of the Airbus Defence & Space - Intelligence Customer Service department, you will be involved in operational support for these customers, aiming to deliver the highly responsive data that enables them to observe natural, humanitarian and geopolitical crises around the world. You will join a team of customer managers based in Toulouse and Budapest. Airbus DS Intelligence Customer Service benefits from a global setup (US, UK, Germany, Singapore and China) which offers an international working environment both internally and with our customers in over 100 countries worldwide.
As our customer service department serves customers who are managing crisis situations and critical needs, you will be required to be on call outside working hours (nights, weekends and public holidays), working from home.
Your challenges:
- Interface and communicate directly with our customers
- Receive satellite imagery orders, register them into our systems and track their progress
- Advise and support customers where necessary
- Acquire a good understanding of the systems and tools available to anticipate bottlenecks
- Interfacing with a large number of departments within Airbus DS Intelligence and representing Customer Services on files and contracts
- Work on process optimization and interact with the team's training manager
- Support the activities of other Customer Managers during their periods of absence; carry out cross-functional tasks for the team proactively and voluntarily.
Your profile:
- Professional experience in a customer service department and/or in a team providing technical and operational support is desirable.
- A technical background is not required, but an affinity for a technical field such as satellite imagery, process management and tool management are desirable
- Other experience appreciated: project management and follow-up, SIG
- Hungarian/English: fluent level required
- Service-oriented, both internally and with customers
- Rigorous follow-up of files and procedures
- Sense of organization and structure in day-to-day work
- Initiative and autonomy
- Teamwork, strong communication and coordination skills
- Management of fluctuating workloads and priorities
