Cyber Strategy Senior Manager

Description & Requirements

Business Acumen: Strong business mindset with the ability to connect cyber solutions to business value.
- Sales Expertise: Demonstrated experience in selling cyber services, with a focus on meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Cyber Strategy Experience: Proven experience in designing and delivering comprehensive cyber strategies, ideally in a Big4, or other major consultancy or tech company.
- C-Level Engagement: Skilled at communicating, presenting, and negotiating with senior executives, building trust and credibility quickly.
- Leadership & Team Management: Ability to lead and motivate teams, managing large projects from start to finish, ensuring delivery excellence.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with the Central European market landscape, including regulatory requirements and local business practices.
- Former CIO or Senior IT Leadership Role: Previous experience in a CIO, CISO, or senior leadership role within the technology or cyber domains is highly desirable.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business, or a related field.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in cyber strategy consulting, with a proven track record in a senior management or leadership role.
- Experience working in or with Big4 firms, or large technology companies.
- Prior CISO role is an advantage
- Fluency in English and proficiency in at least one other Central European language preferred.
- Hungarian residency.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on collaboration and relationship-building.
- Acting as a trusted advisor to C-level executives (CIO, CISO, CTO) across various industries (main industry is financial sector), focusing on addressing their cyber security needs.
- Understanding client business models and goals to create cyber strategies that align with their objectives.
- Leading Client presentations and demonstrating state of the art professional knowledge, thus driving decisions at the executive level.
Sales Focus & Business Development:
- Driving business development activities and initiatives for Cyber Strategy offering in the CE region
- Collaborating with other Deloitte offices around the globe
- Identifying opportunities to cross-sell and up-sell Deloitte’s cyber services beyond cyber strategy, expanding client portfolios and deepening relationships.
Project Leadership & Delivery:
- Taking full ownership of client engagements from deal closure till completion.
- Leading and managing multi-disciplinary teams to ensure the delivery of complex cyber strategy projects on time, within scope, and to the highest standards of quality.
- Ensuring project results meet client expectations, addressing their key cybersecurity risks while aligning with business priorities.
Thought Leadership & Market Positioning:
- Serving as a thought leader in cyber strategy, staying abreast of the latest trends and innovations.
- Representing Deloitte at industry events and conferences, positioning the firm as a leader in cyber strategy consulting.
- Contributing to the development of Deloitte’s cyber offerings and go-to-market strategies for the CE region.
Collaboration with other Deloitte offices:
- Working closely with Deloitte’s global and European member firms to leverage global best practices while tailoring solutions to the CE region’s market needs.
- Ensuring cohesive teamwork across borders, driving client satisfaction through seamless service delivery.
