We’re Hiring: EHS Engineer – TE Connectivity, Tát, Hungary

Are you passionate about environmental, health, and safety standards? Do you want to

EHS Engineer to join our team in Tát and help maintain a safe and sustainable working environment.

As an EHS Engineer, you will:

Performing occupational health and safety risk assessments on dedicated departments, participation in planning and implementing risk mitigation measures;
Performing routine inspection and checking of obligatory Health and Safety items;
Participation in EHS inspections;
Participation in EHS incident investigations;
Takes part in implementing EH&S management systems according to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards;
Holding EHS trainings;
Evaluation of changes in the layout plans, machinery, and manufacturing processes and technologies;
Inspection of contractors working on the site from EHS aspects;
Participation in internal and external audits, as well as regulatory inspections;
Cooperation with regional subject matter experts and managers;
Participation in the regional EHS audit program (less than 10% travel required);

What You Bring:

Occupational Health and Safety Technician or higher degree;
Communication level in English
More than 3 years of experience in the EHS field in manufacturing;
Self-determined attitude, good problem-solving skills;
Good communication, influencing, and management skills;
Good observation and auditing skills;
User skills in MS Office;
Committed to continuous improvement;
An advantage is an MSc or BSc in Environmental Engineering or a Fire Protection Certificate.
