Global Warehouse Manager (m/f/d)

• Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and implement warehouse strategy aligned with the business objectives. Review warehouse footprint in line with our growth and supply chain network
• Warehouse Operational Excellence: Implement programs and projects to improve warehousing performance and processes. This includes implementing best practices, standardizing processes, automation and applying technology solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs
• People Development: Foster the lean culture and mindset in the global warehouse community. Mentor warehouse leaders enhancing their skills
• Supplier and Vendor Management: Collaborate with procurement teams to establish relationships with suppliers and vendors. Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, support top contracts negotiation, and ensure service quality
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for warehouse operations and establish monitoring systems to track performance against targets, highlighting areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions
• Health, Safety, and Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations in the warehouse. Promote standard operating procedures (SOPs) to maintain a safe working environment and mitigate operational risks
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field. Advanced degree or professional certifications in warehouse management
• 5+ years of experience with warehouse management in a global or multinational organization
• Business fluent in English; additional language skills are an asset
• Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, logistics processes and best practices
• Experience driving operational excellence and process improvement programs
• Experienced in people management, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams
• Passionate about analytics with a data-driven approach to focus on continuous improvement
• Enthusiastic to look for creative ways to solve challenges
• Experienced in communication and presenting to cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all levels
• Excellent project management skill and used to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations related to warehouse operations
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems and other relevant technology solutions
