Infrastructure Supervisor (Polish & Hungarian)

Overview
Seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Supervisor to manage local IT infrastructures located in Hungary and Poland. This role also oversees the planning, implementation, and tracking of infrastructure projects across our geographically distributed enterprise architecture. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in enterprise geographical networking, data center management, migrations, and IT security, with a proven track record of managing complex IT infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities
· Take control, document and manage the local IT infrastructures (Datacenters, Physical Machines, Virtual Machines, Computers, Printers, RF Scanners)
· Lead the planning and implementation of IT infrastructure projects, including networking, data centers, Active Directory, and security initiatives.
· Direct efforts in Microsoft Active Directory domain management on multiple domains
· Spearhead IT security projects, focusing on endpoint protection, patching management, vulnerability management, MFA.
· Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure the successful deployment and integration of technologies such as VSphere, Hyper-V, Dell, HPE, Sophos Cloud, Veeam Backup, Fortinet Firewalls, Microsoft RDS, Microsoft SQL, Citrix Netscaler, proxies, Microsoft 365, Cisco, Aruba, and Zebra mobile computers.
· Develop and maintain comprehensive infrastructure documentation according to the standard templates in use in Europe IT
· Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including project plans, budgets, and timelines, to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
· Provide leadership, direction, and support to project teams, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Qualifications
· Proven experience in IT infrastructure management within geographically distributed enterprise environments.
· Strong understanding of enterprise geographical networking concepts, including networking switched and Wi Fi and relative segmentation, Microsoft Active Directory, enterprise firewalling and tunneling concepts, and enterprise IP telephony concepts.
· In-depth knowledge of data center operations, including hosted, on-premise, and cloud data centers in Azure, as well as experience with data center migrations.
· Experience with Microsoft Active Directory, including domain consolidation and managing multiple domain joined scenarios.
· Solid background in IT security, including endpoint protection, patching management, vulnerability management, MFA, Wi Fi secure authentication, MDM and conditional access, application access security, and SFTP data exchange.
· Familiarity with a range of technologies, including VSphere, Hyper-V, Dell, HPE, Sophos Cloud, Veeam Backup, Fortinet Firewalls, Microsoft RDS, Microsoft SQL, Citrix Netscaler, proxies, Microsoft 365, Cisco, Aruba, and Zebra mobile computers.
Excellent project management, communication, and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field; relevant certifications in project management and IT infrastructure are a plus.
