Job Title: Manager – Digital Manufacturing

Reports to (Position): Head- Advanced Manufacturing IT&Digital
Department/Function: IT & Digital
What is the position?
As Digital Manufacturing Manager, you will data-driven innovation by exploring projects with startups to ensure technological advancement, particularly through designing and executing AI and VR proof-of-concept initiatives. It includes developing interactive dashboards for actionable data insights, managing global IT projects in manufacturing to standardize operations, and coordinating digital initiatives at specific plants. Additionally, the role requires collaboration with R&D to enhance research and data management efficiency. The position will be based in one of state-of-the-art factories in Gyongyosshalaz, Hungary and reports to the Head of Advanced Manufacturing.

What is the position?

- Creating Actionable Data Insights - Develop interactive dashboards to provide clear insights, enabling data-driven decision-making, and effectively communicate complex data to non-technical stakeholders.
- Managing Strategic and Tactical Projects - Oversee global Manufacturing IT projects, ensuring standardized approaches and seamless integration of global tools for efficient digital operations.
- Coordinating one or two Plants Digital Projects - Coordinate closely with plants for digital initiatives, ensuring alignment with plant objectives and global standards for successful project outcomes.
- R&D Collaboration on LIMS Integration - Collaborate with R&D for the integration of Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), enhancing research capabilities and contributing to efficient data management processes.
Do you have what it takes? (requirements)
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, especially on Electrical, Electronics, IT, or Computer Science. Master’s degree in Data Engineering would be a plus.
- 10+ years of experience in the manufacturing process engineering, especially in deploying IT applications for manufacturing environment.
- Hands-on experience with PLC & SCADA system.
- Have hands on experience in Projects and inclination to work on Data Science projects
- A team player with result-oriented mindset, strong communication & analytical skills
- A go-getter with good interpersonal skills, willing to meet and connect with people
- Willing to travel to our plant and R&D center in the Netherlands every 2-3 months
- Proficient in English, any other European language is advantage, especially Dutch or Hungarian
