In Hungary, KOSTAL is about to build its first business service centre to provide business support in IT, finance, procurement, master data, sales and HR fields. This will be a global centre with high value-added and complex processes which you can help to build.
The work can be managed remotely – with time-to-time office presence depending on the team’s agreement and the demand of the respective professional area – from any location in Hungary. In case of some company events, office attendance is expected from the colleagues. Technical conditions for working from home are fully in place.
Job Description
Our company is hiring for an IT Change Management specialist to develop and own the IT Change Management Process within KOSTAL Group globally.
Main tasks, roles and responsibilities:
- Work closely with all participating stakeholders and mid-to-senior IT management as necessary
- Review and maintain the current Change Management process to an industry standard level, based on ITIL v4 guidelines.
- Coordinate the approved changes on time as per the CAB decision
- Provide point of contact for process related questions or issues and facilitate process related meetings such as Change Advisory Board
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure consistency of delivery, adherence to standard practices, and continuous improvement
- Review aging Change tickets and work with resolver group members to ensure compliance with process guidelines
- Provide continuous training and mentoring for functional teams to ensure that process guidelines are understood and followed.
- Conduct workshops as required to identify, assess and address process deficiencies, ensure common understanding of process intention and operation, and ensure organization and individual associates understand SLA's and how they contribute to service expectations
- Present operational and service level reports and explain service levels as and when necessary to IT Management
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree or relevant IT education on the field of Business Informatics/IT Service Management is an advantage
- ITIL v4 Foundation Certification / working knowledge of ITIL
- 2+ years as IT Change Manager
- Experience with other IT Service Management processes
- Experience in IT Operations
- Knowledge of one or more IT Service Management toolsets (OTRS, BMC Remedy, Open Text Service Manager, JIRA Service Management)
- Intermediate understanding of infrastructural changes on a technical level to support identifying relevant stakeholders
- Fluent in English
- Fluent German is advantage
- Working knowledge of Change Management, Incident Management, and Problem Management
- Proactive and a pragmatic “can do” attitude
- Ability to make decisions for predefined topics
- Ability to work independently, but seek guidance as and when necessary
- Strong team player with supportive mind-set. Experience in virtual teams in multinational organizations
- Passion for changes and continuous improvement
- Strong process workflow development skills is an advantage
