How will you make an impact
As an IT Manager you will play a critical role in leading and managing the IT support team located at the Thermo Fisher Budapest Hungary COE, ensuring delivery of enterprise solutions, and delivering exceptional technical support to site business end users. You will be responsible for a team of IT professionals and partner with cross-functional teams to drive efficient technology solutions. This position requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a quality mindset.

Responsibilities – What will you do?

Provides work direction and supervision to assigned technical support staff.
Manage team schedules and workload assignments.
Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects related to application system upgrades, site implementations, and change management activities.
Systems Administration and management of software applications, tools, and configurations.
Collaborate with vendors and business colleagues to understand support needs and develop effective partnerships in a matrixed environment that delivers first class IT services.
Ensure Global service levels and quality of service business objectives are being met through customer service quality and positive interfaces with customers.

Education
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent previous experience that provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the job (comparable to 0 to 5 years).
In some cases, an equivalency, consisting of appropriate education, training and/or directly related experience, will be considered sufficient for an individual to meet the role's requirements.

Experience

1+ year of team leadership responsibility.
Demonstrated experience in managing a multi-lingual and multi-cultural end user support function.
Experience of working in a regulated environment.
Experience with Gx P regulations (GMP, GLP, GCP), CFR 21 Part 11, and IEC 62443 standards, to implement IT solutions in compliance with the required guidelines.
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and Computers Systems Validation (CSV).

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

IT support for enterprise systems, including end-user ticket and on-call support, troubleshooting, vendor engagement, incident and problem management.
Ability to work in a team structure, make decisions, solve problems, communicate inside & outside the organization, and analyze, plan, organize and prioritize work.
Ability to simplify demanding concepts for non-technical audiences.
Capacity to make decisions or recommendations based on area of assigned responsibility. Uses good judgement in gathering input for decisions.
Ability to adapt to evolving technologies in a wide-ranging environment.
Strong people management skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with multi-functional teams and end-users.
Strong English written and verbal communication skills.
Strong customer service/relationship building skills.
Preferred candidates will have expertise or administration experience in one or more of the following applications: Master Control, Track Wise Digital, Kneat, Sample Manager, HP ALM, WERCS, Veeva, Service Now, RIMS, Smart Sheet, Sharepoint.
