ISB is seeking to hire an English teacher (ELL) for our primary school.

Position: Primary English Teacher – full-time

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and effective English lessons in line with the school's curriculum.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement interdisciplinary projects and activities.
• Participate in school events, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development opportunities.
• Support the school’s mission and values, contributing to a vibrant school community.

Requirements:

• college or university degree
• knowledge of Cambridge and IB curricula
• professional commitment
• openness to collaboration with a diverse, Hungarian and international teaching staff positive, child-centred pedagogical methods

Preferred: experience in bilingual or international education
