The Role
We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented individual who will contribute to the continual success of our global revenue team for subscriptions. The individual will be integral to ensuring that our subscription orders and invoices are created accurately and timely in accordance with customer needs. This individual will review subscription orders and will work closely with Veeva's other Finance teams to maintain order data quality, align to expectations, and execute process improvements. On top of that, the Senior colleague will need to supportthe team's Supervisor and Manager in day-to-day operation with individual tasks and reports and facilitate smooth information flow and knowledge transfer under rapidly changing circumstances.
- Validating data input from a business and financial perspective
- Approving quotations
- Booking and managing subscription orders in line with revenue policy
- Billing for subscription
- Reconciliating data to ensure completeness of processing
- Supporting and interacting with internal clients
- Investigating unusual items related to billing and revenue
- Assisting in preparing and documenting processes related to internal controls and SOX
- Working on special projects as needed
- Support team’s Supervisor and Manager in day-to-day operation
- Support the Revenue Analyst Team with trainings and knowledge transfer
- Strong communication skills in native language and in English that demonstrate an ability to partner with teams cross-functionally within Veeva and provide timely, accurate customer service
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or similar or equivalent relevant work experience
- 4+ years of order processing, contracting, or finance operations experience
- Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask, prioritize, and remain organized under pressure
- Ability to problem-solve and navigate complex situations
- Self-motivated and self-managed, with an ownership mentality
- Team player, able to work both collaboratively and independently
- Proactive and looking to improve processes, help find better solutions
- Ability to thrive in a fast-growing environment where change is the norm; strong multi-tasking skills and flexibility to switch from one project to the next quickly
- Advanced knowledge and use of Excel
- Experience with Salesforce, Net Suite, and/or Zuora Rev Pro
- Familiarity with revenue accounting
- Software industry experience, especially Saa S
- Public accounting experience
- Mentoring and/or SME experience
