Cosma Assembly Technology (CAT) is a division of Magna International, located in Brampton (ON, Canada), with offices in Troy (USA), Saltillo (Mexico), and Salzgitter (Germany). CAT helps its customers achieve world-class manufacturing by using the latest technologies to design and validate automotive assembly processes and concepts. CAT customers include some of the largest Magna production facilities around the globe.
In an increasingly global and competitive world of automotive manufacturing, engineers need to accurately model and predict manufacturing reality in advance of production start or implementation of changes in production / logistic systems.
Our business is engineering, but our greatest asset is the people who will drive the business forward. Our capabilities include 3D process design & simulation, 3D ergonomics analysis, off-line programming, discrete event simulation, and the continuous improvement of existing assembly applications.
We are looking for a Advanced Manufacturing Engineer to our new Engineering Office in Vecsés.

Task:

• Building Static and Dynamic Simulation models with focus on under-the-roof material flow, fleet estimation, congestion analysis, layout optimization with minimum supervision
• Making technical assumptions and offering alternative approaches within a framework of customary practices with minimum supervision
• Collecting data (on-site/off-site) to build, calibrate and validate models with minimum supervision
• Managing project data and meta-data, including procurement, logging, and dealing with unclear/incomplete information with minimum supervision
• Observing work related timelines, scope, and quality requirements with minimum supervision
• Developing modeling libraries

Expectation:

• Bachelor’s in Industrial Engineering;
• Minimum 3 years’ work experience in related industry. (Automotive preferred)
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in Manufacturing Operation Patterns
• In-Depth knowledge and practical experience with SIMIO.
• Extensive knowledge and professional experience with Operational Equipment Efficiency (OEE) concepts
• Certification in project management, statistical analysis is an asset
• Excellent English skills (fluent in spoken and written, presentation skills)
• German language an asset
