We are seeking a Test Automation Engineer to join our client’s dynamic and innovative team. This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive, solution-oriented individual with a passion for automation and agile methodologies. If you’re eager to work on cutting-edge digital projects and enjoy collaborating in an agile environment, this role could be perfect for you. You'll be joining our team in the Budapest office or at our customer’s site, contributing to innovative solutions in a vibrant, growth-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain detailed test cases and documentation
Mentor junior testers in automation best practices
Collaborate closely with the agile development team to ensure top-notch product quality
Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
Identify, document, and track bugs until resolution
Continuously refine and enhance test automation frameworks and processes

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

4+ years of experience in test automation
Strong API testing skills, including mocking and contract testing
Solid understanding of OOP and SOLID principles
Experience with Git for version control
Fluency in English, both written and spoken
Willingness to learn and adapt quickly

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL SKILLS, PERSONAL TRAITS, EXPERIENCE

Knowledge of C#, .NET, and Azure Dev Ops
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and Azure features (e.g., service bus, blob storage)
Experience with BDD, Spec Flow, and Gherkin
Positive attitude towards mentoring and teamwork
