This role is responsible for day-to-day Design activities for an engineering organization that she/he supports.
Job Title:
Associate Engineer-Design
Job responsibilities:

• S/he is responsible for all day-to-day Design activities for an engineering organization she/he supports.
• Exposure to UG NX Electrical Routing & block diagrams is added advantage.
• Knowledge on DFM/DFA, Tolerance Analysis, and Material Selection.
• Extensive experience in Generalized Engineering, Modeling & Drafting.
• A good understanding of manufacturing processes, tools, and methods.
• Understanding the application of materials in product design in relation to the Life Cycle and Reliability is important.
• Excellent Analytical, Problem-solving skills and communication skills.
• Ability to collaborate with other engineers and site PEs on mechanical design assignments is necessary.
• Experience with composites and aluminum alloys, as well as a background in Aerospace/Automotive interior design, would be advantageous.
• A high level of analytical ability and innovativeness is desirable.

Educational Qualifications:

• A full-time Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering is required.
• Candidates should have 1 to 4 years of experience in design.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience with UG NX (Mechanical and/or Electrical) is mandatory.
