About the Role:
The Head of Department of Fashion Design at Budha College of Design will spearhead the strategic, academic, and operational endeavours of the college. This role emphasizes a commitment to advancing fashion design education. The selected candidate will be a proponent of innovation, academic excellence, and the creation of industry-aligned educational programs.
Responsibilities:

• Strategic Vision: Develop and implement visionary strategies to establish the college as a frontrunner in modern design education.
• Curriculum Development: Innovate and refresh the curriculum to mirror the evolving trends in fashion design, and similar fields, ensuring academic rigor and market relevance.
• Faculty Development: Recruit and nurture a top-tier faculty specializing in cutting-edge design areas, fostering a culture of research, creativity, and pedagogical excellence.
• Enhancing Student Experience: Lead initiatives to attract a diverse student demographic and boost student engagement, achievement, and readiness for careers in innovative design sectors.
• Strengthening Industry Ties: Create and maintain robust connections with the industry to enrich teaching, research, and student job prospects, with a focus on real-world application and project-based learning.
• Managing Resources: Manage the college's resources effectively to support strategic objectives, innovation, and smooth operations.
