About the Role
This role requires managing FC operations. The incumbent would be leading a team of large task force and managing first mile operations, people and key stakeholders ensuring that the management expectations are met and the operations run smoothly without ambiguity. There would be a team of executive and senior executive reporting under this position. The role will report to Department manager.
About the Team
Fulfilment centers (FC) manages the inventory and fulfils the orders of customers. FC teams works towards fulfilling customer orders with best processes and lowest cost, driving Process Excellence across Flipkart business units driving cost, speed, reliability and customer experience.
You are responsible for:
⦁ Define track and improve on key metrics like breach, MIS shipments etc. for given region.
⦁ Build a culture of ownership and empowerment in FCs in that region.
⦁ Accountable for Inventory and related asset management for the region.
⦁ Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the FCs in close coordination within the central FC OD team.
⦁ Work closely with Logistics and Retail teams in reviewing and optimization of distribution network in his region.
⦁ Work closely with central teams for design of org structure with respect to the regional fulfillment center.
⦁ Drive on-the-ground implementation of any new technology/System/Processes for the warehouses in his region.
⦁ Develop, mentor and motivate the team in the region to achieve higher goals.
⦁ Regular Kaizen, other improvements on monthly basis.
⦁ Maintain 5 ‘S’ and the LEAN system of the company.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
