The Industrial Nursing Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the delivery of occupational health services within an industrial setting. This role involves managing nursing staff, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and implementing health programs that promote employee wellness and prevent work-related injuries. The Industrial Nursing Supervisor serves as a key liaison between employees, management, and external health professionals.

Supervision and Management:
- Supervise and manage nursing staff, including scheduling, training, performance evaluations, and professional development.
- Oversee the daily operations of the occupational health unit, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
- Collaborate with other departments to develop health and safety protocols and ensure adherence to company policies.

Employee Health and Wellness:
- Monitor employee health status, conduct health assessments, and coordinate medical examinations as required.
- Provide first aid, emergency care, and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses.
- Administer vaccinations, wellness screenings, and health education programs to promote employee well-being.

Compliance and Documentation:
- Ensure compliance with relevant occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA and other local, state, and federal laws.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee health records, incident reports, and documentation of care provided.
- Conduct workplace hazard assessments and recommend appropriate interventions to prevent injuries.

Program Development and Implementation:
- Develop, implement, and evaluate health programs that address workplace safety, ergonomics, and employee wellness.
- Lead health promotion initiatives, such as stress management, smoking cessation, and chronic disease prevention programs.
- Analyze trends in workplace injuries and illnesses to develop preventive strategies.

Communication and Coordination:
- Act as a liaison between employees, management, medical providers, and other stakeholders on health-related matters.
- Coordinate with external healthcare providers, including occupational physicians, therapists, and specialists, to ensure continuity of care.
- Provide guidance and support to management on health and safety concerns, including case management of workers’ compensation claims.

Training and Education:
- Develop and deliver training programs on health and safety topics, including CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures.
- Educate employees on proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work practices.
