Job Overview:

Verify and manage claims and healthcare costs from vendors and hospitals at PT Mc Dermott Clinic, ensuring adherence to cost control policies. Review medical invoices for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with BPJS procedures, Mc Dermott health care Plan and other company regulations. Confirm the correctness of essential information like patient details, service dates, diagnosis, medicine and procedure codes, itemized services, and charges. Identify and resolve discrepancies between invoice details and supporting documents by liaising with relevant stakeholders. Ensure invoices meet billing guidelines, documentation standards, and coding requirements. Enter and update invoice details in relevant systems, maintaining organized records of verified invoices and related communication. Collaborate with healthcare providers and internal teams to address invoice issues, obtain missing information, and clarify billing details professionally. Provide general administrative support, including file management, document organization, appointment scheduling, and other tasks as needed.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
  • Perform a variety of research functions and use computer programs to produce reports, spreadsheets, and presentations
  • Type and proofread documents, correspondence, and forms
  • Carry out varied assigned tasks requiring knowledge of office protocol, demonstrating an understanding of the organization, policy programs, and procedures related to the work of the office
  • Coordinate and set up meetings and conferences
  • Arrange travel and work on special projects
  • Maintain the schedule of one or more individuals
  • Set up and maintain manual and electronic filing systems
  • Answer the telephone, take, and relay messages, and address routine and non-critical issues or routes to the appropriate person
  • Coordinate and process general administrative work such as time sheets, vacation requests, supply requisitions, etc.
  • Photocopy, fax, and scan documents as required
  • Assure of effective mail and package distribution
  • Assist employees and managers with general administrative requests

Essential Qualifications and Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 to 4 years of experience working in an administrative assistant role, preferably in a large corporation
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office and other related software skills required; Advanced skills in operating a personal computer, various printers, fax machines, scanners, and other office equipment are necessary
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • In-depth knowledge of business procedures, letters, and report formats
  • Able to read and comprehend instructions, and write correspondence and memos
  • Able to effectively present information to co-workers and the public
  • Strong organizational, multitasking, attention to detail, and interpersonal skills
  • Able to work well with all levels of internal management and staff as well as clients
