- To provide support to Head of and Credit Head to establish an effective system of internal controls for safeguard Credit assets, to ensure the compliance to Bank Indonesia and OJK regulation
- Maintain the risk management culture at all levels of the Non-Retail Credit organization. Execute credit risk management strategies including risk posture and risk appetite partnering with Business Unit.
- Provide insightful and forward looking views of the salient non-retail credit risk issues/matters and credit risk portfolio analytics to Head of and Credit Head
- Ensure non-retail credit risk undertaken is within the approved risk appetite of the company
- Assist Head of and Credit Head in translating and ensuring implementation of CIMBN and CIMB Group’s strategy and goals based on cost-benefit and minimize possibility of credit loss. Execute the action plans based on priority and in timely manner and within the budgeted cost. Manage and control NRCRM Sub-Directorate expenditure within agreed budgets
Business Performance and Management
- Provide qualified recommendation for the credit committee or JDA holder in lead time expected; to achieve optimum profit from credit proposal assessed with minimize possibility of credit loss
- Assessment non-retail / respective segments proposal by assessing the term and condition of loan, collateral, risk mitigation, and credit worthiness to be consideration and recommendation for the credit committee and JDA Holder
- Perform assessment and evaluation of non-retail credit / respective segments proposals of the Bank and to monitor, maintain and mitigate Bank’s risks exposure.
- Provide professional and independent recommendation of non-retail credit / respective segments proposals by using various credit assessment tools and deliver the recommendation via credit approval sheet to be forwarded to credit committee or JDA Holder.
- Together with business unit (Industry Champion) and Risk Management in assessing, reviewing and monitoring industry sector (Senior Approver & JDA Holder)
- To approve or reject non-retail / respective segments credit proposals at certain limit according to applied Delegated Authority (JDA Holder)
- To involve the various projects / task identified under NRCRM Sub-Directorate especially related to non-retail credit
- Focus on approving (or not) credit application from robust underwriting platform in the first line of defense (Business Unit).
- Maintain good relations with credit stakeholders. To ensure the responsiveness to market opportunities that can be identified at an early stage in order to be utilized optimally
- Perform assessment and evaluation of non-retail credit proposals from complex accounts in term of company size (parent company/multiple industries), financial report (consolidated), complex new/existing industry (power plant), company organization structure (syndication) - (Senior Approver & JDA Holder) Any responsibilities/task as assigned by management from time to time related to non-retail risk organization
People Management
- Provide coaching and training to continuously upgrade the competency of trainee or junior team members (Senior Approver & JDA Holder) Lead / participate / engage in ad-hoc projects related to non-retail risk or credit risk (JDA Holder)
Regulatory Compliance
- Ensure sound credit recommendation/approval adhering to policy requirement and to assign appropriate customer credit rating.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirement and external auditor
- Review and develop Bank’s credit approval policies and guidelines.(Senior Approver & JDA Holder)
