Are you a motivated individual with solid managerial experience searching for a fresh career opportunity? One of Bali’s leading 5* Boutique Hotel's is looking for a Director F&B to join their team immediately.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in managing and overseeing food and beverage operations in a high-end hospitality environment. They should have a solid understanding of budgeting and financial management, ensuring cost control while maintaining quality and guest satisfaction. Experience in menu development, vendor management, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations is essential. The Director of Food & Beverage should also be adept at analysing market trends and guest feedback to continuously improve offerings and operational efficiency. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are crucial for building relationships with guests, staff, and suppliers, and for representing the food and beverage department at a senior management level.
Requirement :

Open for local and expat candidates.
Bachelor’s Degree in any field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a member of an executive committee in international hotels with a proven track record of achievements.
Flexibility to respond to a variety of different work situations and the ability to work independently.
Excellent level of English both spoken and written.
Strong interpersonal, leadership, and creative skills.
Computer literate with a strong grasp of relevant software and tools.
Demonstrated public speaking skills, including a track record of presentations or completion of public speaking training courses.
Strong ability to drive results and effectively manage and develop people.
Proven experience in developing and implementing strategies that enhance the F&B department’s performance and guest satisfaction.

Responsibilities :

Directly responsible for Food Production and Service such as all restaurants, culinary and events areas, ensuring a smooth running, profitable operations within the framework of the hotel.
Responsible for maintaining the overall welfare of our employees by providing them with the training and resources to take care of our guests.
Develop and enforce standards, policies and procedures in the Food Production and food service, restaurants and beverage areas.
Develop, monitor and take corrective action of annual operating budget, via controllable costs, progress reports, P&L statement, etc.
Attain high sanitation standards throughout the food and beverage operation by enforcing Company Sanitation Checklist.
Establish and maintain positive two-way communications with related departments.
Support managers with an effective training program to make them aware of the expectations and responsibilities that their position entails.
Identify and solve problems in a timely fashion.
Delegate authority and responsibility to managers in a way that the entire food production and FB Service operation runs smoothly.
Appraise managers/employees performance and use effective coaching and counseling for positive improvement.
Hire, develop and retain quality managers/employees.
Schedule managers consistent with volume of business and needs.
Administer management personal action movement and payroll.
To ensure the awareness and enforcement of all company SOPs.
Ensure that all legal aspects are being fulfilled in regards to control of all foods ingredients including beverages such as liquor, beer and wine, sanitation and safety.
Ensure all managers and employees follow all job safety regulations and all hazards are reported to concerned departments.
To ensure that departments conduct an effective monthly employee meeting within minutes and forwarded to the general manager and human resources Manager.
To practice open door policy to all employees.
To ensure that departments are responsible for asset management of all outlet property and facilities.
To ensure that departments conduct a maintenance inspection on a monthly basis.
To respond to guest inquiries or concerns within 24 hours in what is deemed the appropriate manner.
Perform any reasonable request made of management which is not life threatening or against the law.
