Job Description:
The Finance & Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations for our media business unit, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective budgeting and forecasting. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of media industry dynamics, and the ability to support cross-functional teams. FMCG experience is a plus, bringing added value in managing fast-moving, high-volume financial environments.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:

The Finance & Accounting Manager will oversee the financial operations for our media business unit, ensuring accurate financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and effective budgeting and forecasting. This role requires strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of media industry dynamics, and the ability to support cross-functional teams. FMCG experience is a plus, bringing added value in managing fast-moving, high-volume financial environments.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee the full cycle of accounting, finance, and tax functions
- Accurately recognize revenue across various media platforms (digital, print, broadcast, etc.) and manage costs associated with media production and distribution.
- Review payments, handle related withholding taxes, and ensure accurate accounting records in the accounting system.
- Lead the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts for the media business.
- Provide financial modeling and analysis to support decision-making and strategy within the media unit.
- Oversee monthly financial statement closing, ensuring accurate and timely reporting of Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow statements.
- Analyze monthly performance against budget, providing insights on key variances.
- Continuously improve business processes and controls within accounting, finance, and taxation functions for the Media business.
- Ensure compliance and timeliness in financial and tax reporting.
- Manage annual external audits and internal audits.
- Handle tax audits and respond to tax inquiries from the Indonesian Tax Authority.
- Collaborate with the Regional Finance Team to ensure accurate accounting practices for the Media business across the Group.
- Serve as a Finance Business Partner to support media and commercial teams in their financial planning and performance goals.
- Provide financial insights to support advertising sales, media buying, and content monetization strategies.
- Prepare additional reports and handle special projects or assignments as required.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) is a plus.

Experience:
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably within the media industry.
- Experience in FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) is a plus, especially in managing high-volume transactions and inventory.

Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, with strong Excel skills.
- Familiarity with media industry-specific financial tools and reporting standards.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to guide business decisions.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally and present complex financial information in a clear, concise manner.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Proactive and resourceful, with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Compliance Knowledge: Familiarity with regulatory and tax requirements in the media and/or FMCG sectors is an advantage.
