Internship Manufacturing Quality Engineer

Batam Centre

Support Quality Engineer in the following matters
  • Ensure effective manufacturing processes and conformance of finished goods to customers’ specifications by:
o Analyzing quality issues and root causes
o Resolving technical and quality issues with appropriate stakeholders with proper documentation and corrective/ preventive actions
o Training Line Inspectors and Final QC Inspectors about required quality standards
o Performing process and product audits
o Ensuring the quality of parts conform to the customers’ requirements.
o Establishing, updating and reviewing BCI
  • Register and closely follow-up on customers’ feedback about quality issues by:
o Identifying the issues, troubleshooting and discussing them with the related stakeholders
o Implementing and evaluating the effectiveness of corrective actions
o Provide a fast, accurate and appropriate response to the customer about solutions and schedules
o Properly closing the issues to the customer’s satisfaction.
  • Coordinate and deploy continuous improvement activities using Lean, Six Sigma and/or appropriate quality management
tools, while conforming to our internal Schneider Production System requirements.
  • Create strategies to deploy production/ management systems and tools in the work place.
  • Plan, design and conduct 5S audits.
  • Design and deploy employee suggestion scheme to gather new ideas from employees.
  • Prepare, compile, analyze and present quality management reports.
  • Motivate and inculcate a quality improvement culture within the work place
Qualifications
  • Vocational High School
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Good written and spoken English.
  • Must be willing to be based in Batam.
