Planning & Contract Team Leader

Purpose:
  • To support the project services manager in the planning, scheduling, and cost budgeting of upstream projects
  • To provide support for Project time and cost control, monitor the project progress, provide accurate project time and cost reports, verify time and cost performance against plan, and identify areas of potential time target and budget overrun requiring corrective action.
  • Support the Contract Holder in day-by-day contract management and eventual disputes or claims
General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of project work breakdown structure (WBS) and cost breakdown structure (CBS) according to cost estimates and planning
  • Detailed scheduling of project activities and support for the budget/forecast preparation
  • Control of contractors and project team schedules producing project progress reports
  • Include detailed contractor schedule into the project master schedule and identify critical path activities
  • Check physical progress, actual costs against plans and budgets, and support for the estimate to complete
  • Preparation of project work progress and cost reports
  • Plan and control procurement and contract plans, preparation of contractual procedures/specs, and support contract administration
  • Perform earned value analysis
  • Participating in cross-project analysis
  • Transferring experience within the team
Safety Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate a personal commitment to Health, Safety, and the Environment by monitoring the European Capacity Management Tool (ECMT) application of the following:
  • Indonesian Statutory Health, Safety & Environmental Regulations
  • Company’s Corporate Health, Safety & Environment Policy, and Safety Management Systems.

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Degree
Professional Qualification:
  • Deep knowledge of project controls function including contract management and solid knowledge of the overall Project Management Organization function
  • Not less than 8 years of working experience in the oil & gas industry, both offshore and onshore
  • Language: Fluent in English and Bahasa Indonesia

  • Project Schedule Manage

  • Preparation of Project Performance Report (Weekly, Monthly) of the general status update, cost, economics, scheduling, and authorization situation
  • Project Scope Control & Change Management
  • ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning System)
  • SIGEP effective use and implementation
  • Project Master Data Base management
  • Specialist software knowledge & effective use: Primavera P6, Microsoft Project
Project Portfolio Management:
  • Business Plan, 4 (Four)-Years Plan and Budgets/Forecast of development projects
Contract Management:
  • Scope of work (SOW) knowledge
  • ITTs preparation and T&C alignment
  • Key performance indicators (KPIs) and con contractor performance monitoring
  • Claim and dispute resolution
