Sustainability Planning Coordinator

Purpose:
To manage planning, reporting, and compliance of sustainability activities

General Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
  • Perform planning and budget management for sustainability activities
  • Manage sustainability reporting internally (including HQ) and externally (Authorities)
  • Manage sustainability compliance (ensuring due diligence for all sustainability-related projects and its auditable)
  • Manage sustainability-related contracts (tender preparation, execution, monitoring, expenditure, invoicing) and their related contract reporting and/or close out to the respective department
  • Manage agreements (such as Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), cooperation agreement, etc.) with stakeholders, including its preparation and liaison between internal and external parties
  • Involve in external sustainability-related events/activities as per requirement by authorities
  • Manage internal and external procedures related to sustainability and their applicability and keep the team members updated
  • Support the implementation of sustainability activities and stakeholder engagement

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Psychology, International Relations, and/or related field
  • Professional Qualifications: A minimum of 5 years of experience in the sustainability industry is required, with experience in the oil and gas sector being advantageous
Training and Courses:
  • Budget management skill
  • Sustainability project planning and Monev
  • PTK 007
  • Business writing skill
  • Public speaking skill
  • Languages: Fluent in English (both oral and written)
Required Competencies:
Technical Competencies
  • Strong knowledge of local and global sustainability frameworks
  • Thorough understanding of planning and budgeting mechanisms in the oil and gas industry, relevant to WP&B and internal Company
  • Understanding PTK 007 for contract management purposes, PTK 007 certified will be beneficial
  • Understanding of government requirements/policy on community-related issues
  • Understanding general upstream oil and gas business processes

  • Good interpersonal skills to relate to the multidiscipline and multicultural environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management to prioritize tasks and ensure timely project completion.

Working Conditions:
  • Office and Field Environment.
  • Combination of office work and fieldwork, including site visits to assess environmental conditions and project progress.
