Banqueting Supervisor

Reporting to the Banqueting Manager, the Banqueting Supervisor assists in the daily operations of the banqueting department. While Banqueting would be the home department, the successful candidate may be also be required to work in other food and beverage departments, especially during quieter periods.
To provide guests with a hotel and facilities maintained to the highest standard. To maximise profitability and identify new sources of revenue and product development. To assist in managing a large team, by training and supervising of banqueting personnel and ensuring strong lines of communication are in place.
You will ensure set standards are always reached by ensuring that SOPs are followed, and taking action on all reports/audits done on the banqueting suite.
You will also work closely with the Wedding Coordinators to ensure that all weddings are managed seamlessly.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banqueting and team training with strong management skills.
Excellent communication, organising and planning skills.
