Comer Group Ireland, one of Ireland's largest private landlords, are seeking a Full Time, Carpenter/Maintenance Technician to join our Maintenance Team. This role requires movement to work across multiple residential and commercial blocks, completing plumbing and maintenance works in multiple properties.


The duties and responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to the following:

• Fitting and repairing various household appliances
• Continuous communication and interaction with the Group Maintenance Manager and Maintenance Team
• Identify and report preventative maintenance issues to the Group Maintenance Manager
• Cutting, welding and assembling fittings, and fixtures
• To respond to and attend all building related safety concerns
• Maintain compliance with all company building and maintenance standards
• Regular communication with Property Managers to ensure all maintenance, water and gas related issues logged are resolved in a timely, efficient and safe manner
• Troubleshooting and resolving utilities systems issues
• Assist in specifying proper supplies and equipment for operations
• Preparing cost estimates
• To respond to emergency situations and call outs when necessary
• To travel between sites and locations in the relevant assigned region

The ideal candidate will have:

• Carpentry Maintenance and Industrial or Commercial experience
• Experience in a similar role
• Excellent organisational skills
• Focused with a good personality
• Fast learner and ability to work on own initiative
• Excellent attention to detail
• Flexibility
• Full Clean Drivers Licence
• Immediate start available
