Are you a skilled character actor with a passion for bringing classic literature to life? We’re looking for talented actors to portray beloved Dickensian characters at a major Christmas festival in Dublin! Step back in time to embody the rich personalities of Charles Dickens' works, adding warmth, humor, and a touch of holiday magic to our festival atmosphere.
About RAW Marketing
RAW Marketing is a live-activation agency helping clients to effectively engage directly with their customers. We offer our clients a full range of live marketing activation tools, to effectively engage directly with their customers. Breaking down campaigns to their simplest – or rawest – form, allowing us to pinpoint marketing strategies to their target audience.
Position: Character Actor – Dickensian Roles
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Festival Dates: Late November to Mid-December
Compensation: Remuneration based on experience
About the Role: As a character actor in our Dickensian troupe, you'll engage and entertain festival-goers by embodying iconic Dickens characters such as Ebenezer Scrooge, Fagin, and Miss Havisham. Whether interacting with crowds, participating in live scenes, or joining festive photo opportunities, your role will be to bring the spirit of Victorian England to life in a way that resonates with audiences of all ages.
Key Requirements:

Strong acting ability and experience in character roles, particularly in period pieces or interactive performances
Ability to sustain character in lively, public settings and improvise interactions
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends throughout the festival period
Previous experience in festival or immersive event settings a plus
