Overview:

Job Title: Coldstore General Operative

Reporting to: Coldstore Manager

Position Type: Permanent.

Location: Kildare Town

Role Summary:

Dawn Meats is one of Europe's leading beef and lamb processing companies with locations across Ireland, UK, France and continental Europe employing over 8000 employees. We currently have opportunities for a Coldstore Operative to join our production team in Kildare Town.

The succesful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe storage of meat products in our cold storage facility.

Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be based at our Kildare primary production plant and will be responsible for:

Decanting meat (no bending involved)
Lifting boxes, max weight 25kg, also lifting 20kg, 10kg boxes.
Flipping trays and pushing trays, max 25kg.
Using gas gun on packing to shrink material to fit the meat.
Operate and maintain cold storage equipment and machinery
Ensure proper storage and rotation of products to maintain quality and safety standards.
