Fancy being part of our digital transformation journey? We are currently recruiting a Continuous Improvement Expert to join our growling Tech team. As a Continuous Improvement Expert, you will be a part of the department that supports the delivery of a leading digital platform that is now the primary sales and servicing channel of our customer, as well as the most cost effective and biggest customer reaching.
Required skills:
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent experience.
  • Affinity for (internal candidates) / expert in (external candidates) Lean Six Sigma with demonstrable experience of leading implementation of complex operational change (internal candidates) / CI tracks (external candidates)
  • Experience in a technical role gained in a complex, global organization.
  • Business partnering experience, working as a valued partner with medior and senior stakeholders and third parties across a diverse operation.
  • Proven track record of successfully influencing Leaders of their past change projects
  • Experience of, and contribution to, applicable industry best practice, leading and shaping further development.
  • Experience of operating across multiple countries and cultures is desirable.
  • Strong leadership with a proven ability of creating and communication an inspiring vision and influencing / persuading internally and externally.
  • Effective stakeholder management, balancing and finding compromises between opposing views and opinions.
  • Business partnering influencing capability and strong commercial awareness.
  • Problem solving & understanding of the broader business context (business acumen).
  • Flexibility in a rapidly changing and developing environment, with the ability to work under pressure.
  • Innovation - transforming industry trends into practical, cost effective, secure, scalable and supportable solutions.
  • Proven excellent coaching skills of both junior and medior employees and managers
  • Data Tech savvy
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
Key responsibilities & duties include:
  • A lean expert of the Continuous Improvement Team in EI is responsible for for:
    • defining & implementing the CI Operations framework for consecutive CI tracks (alone or in tandem with another CI expert)
    • working closely with key stakeholders to support implementation across the CI track in scope, using a business partner approach.
    • creating and implementing short and medium-term process improvement plans.
    • Ensuring project/ workstream design meets functional requirements and is achievable for the organisation.
    • Ensure follow up of the business after the track has been completed
  • They will be expert in Lean Six Sigma with strong capability and experience in developing implementation strategies for complex, multidisciplinary parts of organisations.
  • They will be a dynamic individual with gravitas and ability to create a journey that will engage leaders and employees across the CI track they are working on
  • They will support the creation of a culture of continuous improvement with the roll-out of the implementation framework(s) and development of the education that goes with it
  • They will install CI process in their own tracks and support its further development
  • They will be responsible for ensuring that their the CI champions have strong skills of CI methods and Tools (CI champions =Designated people from the business that will cooperate more intensively with the CI team,
  • who will remain in the business and will absorb as much skills as possible to anchor CI in the business)
  • They will participate in the cultural change workstreams (e.g. they will provide CI change success stories, participate in townhalls, steerco's, execute workshops, market the new approach, support the CI process…)
  • This role may require travel and working from multiple sites/locations. Willing and able to travel to participate in meetings, workshops, and other related activities.
