Distribution Manager

The Company
Large distributor with 4 depots throughout Ireland. Highly regarded within our industry. Due to growth in our business, we are currently expanding our Senior Management team.
The Role
We are recruiting a Distribution Manager to run our Dublin DC.
This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday) 8am – 5.pm.
The successful candidate will be responsible for all our warehouse and logistics operations.
Reporting directly to the Operations Director, you will need a proven track record and experience of at least 5 years in a Supply Chain/Warehouse management role. Strong IT Knowledge essential. Demonstrate an understanding of the business, create strategic opportunities, and use this knowledge to improve results and service offerings.

Qualification in Management / Supply chain.
Service level agreements are monitored and reviewed.
Manage, direct, and monitor all warehouse / logistics operations.
Strong knowledge of H&S practices.
Strong communication skills.
Develop best practices.
Review records – reports to determine reasons for discrepancies in stock.
Experience in stock control.
Performance management reviews / KPI’s and monthly reports.
Handle various tasks simultaneously.
Identify shortfalls and anticipate rising needs.
Maintaining and developing strong relations with all stakeholders.
Minimum 5 years + Warehouse and Distribution experience.
Knowledge of Warehouse management systems.
