English Teacher on Project Based Adult Courses

Future Learning runs technology enhanced English language programmes which aims to harness the powerful devices that are part of our everyday lives to engage learners to help capture and practice the language and make the most of the experience of living, working and studying in Ireland. Learning with FL is an opportunity to develop real life language skills in a well-resourced environment while also enhancing the ability to make effective use of technology in life, work and study.
We are looking for teachers with an interest in project based learning, experience of working with adults students and of using technology in the classroom. All applicants must have completed their primary degree and a recognised certificate in English language teaching (which includes 6 hours of assessed teaching practice with real learners).
Timetable: Mornings includes 15 hours of teaching between the hours of 8:45 and 12:45, Monday to Friday while Afternoons would include 15 hours teaching hours in afternoons between 13:15 and 17:15.
Locations: Future Learning Language School Athlone Campus.
Requirements: Degree, recognised TESOL qualification, experience with similar learners, confident user of technology and current police clearance (Garda Vetting / DBS).
Salary (depending on experience): €270-€315 per week and pro-rata for additional days and hours, paid monthly.
