Hayfield Manor Hotel, a part of The Hayfield Family Collection, are seeking Food & Beverage supervisors to join our F&B team.
To assume responsibility for the overall co-ordination of front office and the events operations, luggage handling and porterage ensuring the highest operating standards are achieved.
We are currently seeking AM/PM shift porters to join our exciting team.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure all guests receive a genuine warm welcome and have a positive memorable experience during their time in the hotel
Ensure the smooth running of service in all Food & Beverage outlets
Lead team of Food & Beverage Assistants
Complete relevant training with new and existing team members
Ensure strong morale among the team at all times.
Work and communicate effectively with all department heads and colleagues throughout the hotel to engender a collaborative and positive working environment.
Manage customer feedback to ensure matters are dealt with in an efficient and courteous manner and reported to Senior Management to ensure continuous improvements.
Maximise sales through upselling and excellent customer service.
Requirements

• Experience in a high end restaurant or 5 star property is essential.
• Enthusiastic and self motivated
• Previous experience in a similar position
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent communication & People skills
• Have a positive attitude with a great work ethic and a can do attitude
• Flexible with their availability over weekends
• Must have strong working knowledge of food and drink service.
• Must be fluent in English and confident to converse freely with guests
• Must have proven experience leading a team including training, performance management and development
• Must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to oversee and delegate work to others.
• Must be willing to assist in other areas of the hotel as required
• Must have a warm, friendly and approachable manner

Reporting to: You will report directly to the Restaurant manager, Operations Manager and the Deputy General Manager.
The Person: The ideal candidate will have experience in working in the F&B hospitality. The ability to work on their own initiative, as well as being capable of working as part of a team. A warm, friendly and approachable personality when dealing with fellow staff and guests.
