- All aspects of delivery of WTW products and services for the Line of Business (LOB) within Ireland. Develop relationships with other LOB heads to penetrate LOB services/solutions on a reciprocal basis.
- Ownership of the P&L for H&B Ireland to include budgeting, forecasting, revenue recognition and compensation & benefits for all employees of H&B Ireland.
- Manage country H&B pipeline and sales opportunities working closely with Senior Relationship Managers, Geography Leader, Head of H&B GB and Senior Sales Leaders.
- Guide local growth initiatives (‘Smart Connections’, Survey/Research based sales campaigns, Wellbeing, etc).
- Deliver to all Transformation objectives to include right-shoring opportunities and adoption of Global/Regional initiatives to implement automation and technology solutions.
- Perform an external Head role to the Irish market, representing H&B Ireland at industry events and be a spokesperson for H&B resources.
- Member of H&B Europe Senior team: work with H&B Europe Head, Heads of Operations and Sales plus other H&B Regional and Country Leaders to achieve H&B business plan including financial targets, effective staff management and utilisation of intellectual capital.
- Member of Irish Senior team: work with Geography Head and other LOB Country Heads to execute Irish business plan, with a focus on H&B priorities and initiatives, as well as cross-LOB perspectives.
- Manage the overall business of H&B Ireland with a strong strategic view to grow the business and embed a strong brand awareness in the local market.
- Steer efforts to further the implementation of the Global/Regional Target Operating Model in H&B Ireland.
- Specific focus on improving the scores of the mechanical reviews of the renewal process, utilisation of Dynamics 365 and adoption of the broader Excellence model.
- Manage a team of direct reports of H&B resources in Ireland.
- Display strong headship, people management skills and achieve people retention targets.
- Build a talent pipeline and attract new talent to the business to support growth.
- Work in a collaborative manner demonstrating the WTW values and promoting inclusion and diversity within the team.
- Working with the Head of Advisory Services (Ireland) manage teams responsible for client relationships, promoting the use of the Strategy Navigator Framework.
- Liaise with Sales Heads to achieve cross-sell and new logo targets.
- Collaborate with other LOBs and Segments to present the overall value proposition of ‘One WTW’.
- Establish strong relationships with other country H&B Heads to leverage effective partnerships and opportunities to grow and increase pipelines for current and future new business opportunities.
- Conduct H&B service meetings for all high-value clients to ensure that retention targets are achieved.
- Manage the H&B Country Financials including revenue growth, direct H&B cost management and profitability.
- Work with teams to define appropriate delivery models and clearly defined scope expectations in order to implement pricing discipline.
- Work closely with Country Head plus other LOB Country Heads to drive overall Country growth and profitability.
- Extensive employee health and risk benefits experience in Ireland
- Proven sales leadership and financial acumen (preferably P&L ownership)
- Extensive experience in employee benefits broking, insurance or consulting
- Working knowledge of the relevant Irish insurance and vendor markets
- Ability to execute on strategic staffing plans, including all people processes (recruiting, deployment, performance management, development and engagement)
- Demonstrated ability to inspire, influence and bring people together within a matrix structure in a performance driven environment
- Ability to work both alone and with client teams
- Excellent problem solving and reasoning skills is a must for this job
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to travel internationally as required
