Health and Safety Officer – Kollect Group
Location: Rathangan, Co. Kildare
Please Note: Applicants must be based in Ireland and legally permitted to work here. We are not offering sponsorship or accepting overseas applications.
The Kollect Group, including Kollect, BIGbin, Callan Skips, and Pink Recycling, is seeking a Health and Safety Officer to oversee compliance and safety standards across our sites. This is a permanent role, based primarily in Rathangan with occasional travel to other locations.
Role Overview:
You will implement and maintain our Health and Safety Management System, ensure regulatory compliance, conduct risk assessments, and drive safety excellence across the business.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and train on the company’s Safety Management System.
  • Conduct audits, manage compliance, and ensure proper PPE usage.
  • Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
  • Plan for and respond to safety hazards.
  • Deliver safety training and manage documentation.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years’ experience in Health and Safety.
  • Diploma in Health and Safety (minimum requirement).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., Train the Trainer) are a plus.
  • Experience in waste processing, quarries, or construction is beneficial.
  • Strong organisational skills and a full, clean driver’s license.
