In our ever-evolving business environment, the effective management of employment relationships is more critical than ever. As our HR Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring that our company not only meets but exceeds the highest standards of HR management. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to provide strategic and operational HR support, offering managers expert guidance on legislative, procedural, and policy matters. Your role will be pivotal in ensuring compliance with legal requirements and fostering a positive, inclusive workplace culture where employees can thrive. In this role, you will be instrumental in upholding best practices that serve the business's interests while also advancing the well-being of our employees. You will lead and contribute to HR projects that align with and promote the company’s strategic goals, helping to shape the future of our company. Your leadership and expertise will be crucial in driving initiatives that enhance employee engagement, development, and retention. As the key member of our HR team, you will play a critical role in supporting the management and development of our workforce. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Main Responsibilities:
  • Recruitment & Selection – Overseeing the recruitment process, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing and selection.
  • Employee Relations – Managing employee relations issues, such as grievances, disputes, and disciplinary matters. Advising managers on handling employee relations matters in compliance with Irish employment law and company policies. Promoting positive employee relations through effective communication, conflict resolution, and employee engagement initiatives.
  • Training and Development - Identifying training needs and coordinating training and development plans for all employees. Evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives and adjusting them when required.
  • Performance Management – Implementing performance management processes including goal setting, performance reviews and performance improvement plans. Providing guidance to managers on effectively managing employee’s performance and providing constructive feedback.
  • HR Policies and Compliance – Developing, implementing, and updating HR policies and procedures in accordance with Irish Employment legislation and best practises. Ensuring compliance with employment laws, regulations, and industry standards. Providing guidance and training to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • HR Administration – Overseeing HR administration tasks, such as employee record-keeping, managing employee documentation, including contracts, offer letters and personnel files.
  • Strategic HR Planning – Contributing to HR development strategies and ensuring that they are aligned with organisational goals and objectives. Identifying talent gaps and developing workforce plans to address current and future organisational needs.
  • Comply with ISO 9001:2015 & ISO 14001:2015 QE Management System requirements i.e. perform work according to process documents, procedures and maintaining document information/completing department forms/records as required and ensuring good environmental management practices.
  • Help develop and improve the company’s internal processes and management system by reporting corrective actions, updates, and improvement ideas.
  • Provide HR analytics and reporting to senior management on employee turnover, absenteeism, and other key metrics.
  • Oversee employee benefits programs, leave entitlements, and contracts of employment.
  • Develop and update HR policies and procedures in line with Irish legislation
  • Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations.
Knowledge & Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Irish employment law and HR best practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage at all levels.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Proficient in basic IT and Microsoft Office Suite.
Desirable competencies

· Commercial awareness and understanding of business strategy.
· Previous experience in a HR managerial role, ideally within Ireland.
· Experience working in a fast-paced environment or a multinational company is advantageous.
· Proven experience in managing recruitment, employee relations, and HR strategy.
Educational Requirements:
· CIPD qualification or other relevant HR qualification.
· Educated to degree level desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: From €1.00 per year
