Marketing Communications Executive

We are looking for a Marketing Communications Executive with a passion for storytelling, digital communications and best-in-class writing, an understanding of the consistency needed to maintain a premium brand, great communication skills, plus the hunger to grow in a fast-paced team.
You will be a dynamic addition to our team, helping us to shape and deliver RSM marketing content.
Purpose of the role
You will work within the Marketing Communications team and work closely with the wider Core Functions team and the broader firm.
You will play a fundamental role in developing our brand collateral, both internally and externally. You will create, edit and optimise our content with strong attention to detail, acting as a style and tone of voice guardian for the brand and supporting on ways to streamline and modernise what is produced.
The right candidate will be involved in delivering the firm’s brand and communications strategy to support and drive the firm’s growth and success. This role is critical in supporting the delivery of communications through our digital channels, with a focus on managing website content and social media channels which play a pivotal role in increasing brand awareness.
You will have the opportunity to work across a wide range of platforms and content topics from across the firm and to support on or take ownership of multiple projects simultaneously. You will support RSM’s global vision to be the first-choice adviser to the middle market. To play your role in achieving this, collaboration with peers and stakeholders will be key.
You are highly motivated, inquisitive, proactive, adaptable and an excellent communicator. You will also have a strong desire to understand the bigger picture, with the ability and confidence to ask the questions that get to the heart of an issue, to tell the brand story through the content.
Responsibilities
- Content creation: Edit, proof, and create content across various channels and platforms, optimising for both internal and external audiences, with a high level of accuracy and in accordance with our in-house editorial style and tone of voice guides. Content will cover a range of topics, including employer brand, technical and campaign work.
- Digital marketing: responsibility for website content management including SEO optimisation, social media management and running digital advertising campaigns. Running and analysing reports on digital activities with the aim of tracking trends, driving traffic, and increasing followers.

Design: designing high quality brand compliant artwork for campaigns and collateral including artwork for print, digital channels, and merchandise.
- Internal communications: supporting the delivery of our internal communications plans including supporting the development of a new intranet site, managing day-to-day intranet content, designing our monthly staff newsletter, and developing content to promote internal events and initiatives.

Advertising, PR and brand: supporting the organisation of advertising campaigns with third party publications, liaising with a PR agency to support firmwide PR plans and coordinating other brand activities e.g., sponsorship opportunities, photography, events.
Experience
- At least 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- 3rd level qualification in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, or related discipline.
- Experience writing for a variety of channels, including, social media, web, and article style content which connects with the desired audience and drives action.
- Experience in Adobe Creative Cloud programmes is an advantage (In Design, Illustrator Premier Pro and Photoshop).
- Experience in Drupal 9 website content management system is an advantage.
- Experience with Google analytics, Excel, Power Point, and data visualization tools.
- Experience in professional services, financial services or similar industry is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively and with people at all levels of the organisation.
- Excellent project management and organisational skills and capability to handle multiple projects at one time
