Department Description
As a Manufacturing Elite Programme hire, you’ll be joining an organization where people of all backgrounds and experiences are respected, and where we work together focused on changing lives. In this role you’ll be working directly with your coach and the mentor from each department during the rotation.

Your Profile
The ideal candidate for this position:

• Highly qualified university graduates with a minimum Master degree in a Biomedical/Biotechnology and engineering field.

• Candidates selected for the program have a history of strong academic achievement.
• Candidates must be geographically mobile; English is required, and Mandarin is an advantage but not essential.
• The role will be based in our Dundalk site, Ireland but candidates must be willing to travel to our partner Wu Xi Biologics sites and will need to rotate in China for 6 – 12 months.

Scope of the Elite Programme:

• This is a future leader for Biologic Manufacturing two-year programme, including rotations in functional business areas. You’ll accelerate your career by interacting and collaborating with some of the brightest and most innovative minds on our leadership teams including areas in:
  • Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology and Quality.
  • New Drug Introduction, Technology Transfer, Process Validation, Project Management, Quality, Engineering.
• Develop into cell culture upstream and downstream purification process expert, also focusing on buffer make up linking to both facilities onsite.
• Embrace and be a role model of our PROUD culture.
• Learn on the job, to develop and practice your business knowledge and leadership skills.
• Embrace opportunities to participate in decision-making and take responsibility for example: ongoing projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

After further developing your technical and leadership skills, you’ll be equipped with the tools and skills needed for a leadership role within us at Wu Xi Biologics.
