Overview
The Paid Social team are responsible for implementing, optimizing, and reporting on all paid social media campaigns. The purpose of this role is to support the Paid Social
Manager(s) and Senior Paid Social Manager(s) in the day to day running of the
allocated team.
Part of the remit is working collaboratively with all our Media Planning Practices
assisting in the creation of campaigns that deliver real results for our clients.
The team have a very structured learning programme in place, delivered by the best
trainers in the industry. The purpose of this is to ensure a consistent level of
knowledge covering everything from the basics to advanced areas of Paid social media.
Responsibilities/ Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
A keen attention to detail and Quality Assurance of output will be critical to this role.
Central to this role is a clear understanding of social media buying platforms and an
ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
The Paid Social Associate will work closely with the Paid Social Manager(s), on the
delivery of paid social campaigns, and will ensure that it is aligned with the overall
media rationale.
This will all be delivered accurately and by adhering to processes as outlined in our
ways of working.

PRACTICE PERFORMANCE (Quadrant 1 - Creates the future / Quadrant 2 -

- Generating detailed reports that deliver actionable insight for clients/media teams
- Listens actively to understand client/media teams needs
- Creating and developing world class social media buying campaigns that are based on best practice.
- Working closely with all our Practices to constantly improve ways of working and efficiency gains
- Learning about all media channels and the rate at which they contribute to the plan
- Enthusiasm to build knowledge of our industry and what we do
- Building relationships with media teams
- Excellent attention to detail in every aspect of what we do
- Thinking creatively about solutions to problems
- Understanding what excellence in Paid Social looks like and ensuring it exists in output for our clients
- Work with the Paid Social Managers and Senior Paid Social Managers to add extra value to campaigns that we create for clients through innovation and ideation
- Ensure timesheets are updated weekly and that they accurately reflect the time spent on our client’s business
- Ensuring excellence in output for our clients through quality control processes
- Commit to the internal Core Learning programme(s) and regularly attend training for your development
- Helping to drive and build culture, creating a fun working and learning environment
- Collaborate closely with the Senior Paid Social Manager and Paid Social Client Director to ensure your personal development requirements are met
- Ensure a strong comprehension and commitment to your career development plan in line with your 360 appraisals, quarterly catch up’s and goals
- Uphold Core’s values in words and actions
- Proactively build relationships within the wider company
- Actively participate in knowledge sharing across the company and within your team
- 2+ year experience of media buying and an interest in media planning and buying is essential
- In-depth knowledge of the constantly evolving social media platforms and media landscapes.
- Experience in running paid campaigns across multiple social platforms
- Previous experience using Microsoft Office suit of tools
- Be energetic and efficient in approach
- Am understanding of all social media platforms and their advertising formats
- Actively display a passion for the industry
- Strong attention to detail
- Show curiosity in learning new things at a fast pace every day
- Excellent interpersonal skills- ability to build strong relationships with colleagues across Core
- Understands the importance of upskilling
- Understands and appreciates the benefit of processes
- Be responsive to requests
- Know when to escalate and involve other people
