The purpose of this role is to support the Senior Media Manager(s) and Media Director(s) in the day to day running of the allocated team in Channel Planning. It is the responsibility of the Channel Planning team to create media plans that deliver effectively on clients’ objectives.
Part of the remit is working collaboratively with all our Practices to create and assist in the creation of award-winning campaigns that deliver real results for our clients. Another key part of this role is ensuring Media Associates are supported in their learning and development, as well as following and implementing our processes.
The team in Channel Planning have a very structured learning programme in place, delivered by the best trainers in the industry. The purpose of this is to ensure a consistent level of knowledge covering everything from the basics to advanced areas of media planning.
Central to this role is a clear understanding of media planning principles and an ability to plan at a high level. Quality Control is essential to ensure that the media plan produced matches the media rationale and the objectives set. Success will be defined at the year-end RADAR client service review in improvement in media planning and the impact of media ideas on the client’s business. It will also be defined by audit results specifically in areas that we have control over
Experience
This role requires at least 1.5 years' media planning experience. A high level of business acumen is required, as well as strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint.
