Part-Time Payroll and Accounts person

  • Manage payroll processing using Sage Payroll, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Reconcile accounts and keep financial records up to date.
  • Prepare and submit VAT returns in a timely manner.
  • Utilize Revenue Online Service (ROS) for tax reporting and compliance.
  • Assist in producing financial reports and insights to support business decision-making.
  • Collaborate with the management team to streamline accounting processes.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in Sage Payroll and accounting practices.
  • Strong understanding of account reconciliation and VAT return processes.
  • Familiarity with ROS and tax compliance in Ireland.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Prior experience in a small business environment is advantageous.
