Personal Assistant

We are currently recruiting a Personal Assistant working with one resident 15 hours each week, to work as part of our team in Mooncoin Residential Care Centre.
Requirements:
- FETAC Level 5 Healthcare Support or equivalent - essential.
- A qualification in Applied Health Care or Social Care - desirable but not essential
- Experience with clients with an Acquired Brain Injury – desirable
- The Successful candidate will be required to participate in physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapy programmes, prior knowledge or experience in either area desirable, and full person specific training will be provided.
- Have a kind and caring disposition.
- Be committed to delivering a high standard of care at all times.
- Possess excellent communication & organisational skills and an ability to work on your own initiative, as this role will include therapy hours for which training will be provided.
- Be efficient and capable of working under pressure while ensuring attention to detail at all times.
- Have good English.
- Be permitted to work in Ireland
- This role does not routinely involve direct personal care of the resident.
- Healthcare: 2 years
- QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (preferred)
