Position Overview:
We are looking for a committed Personal Care Assistant for a man in his mid-30s who has a spinal cord injury resulting in complete paralysis from the neck down.
Requirements:

• Fluency in English
• Legal right to work in Ireland (Stamp 4 visa holders welcome)
• Prior experience in disability care is beneficial but not required
• Valid Driver's License

Job Responsibilities:
The role involves providing assistance with daily activities, including:

• Utilizing a hoist for transfers
• Assisting with personal care, such as bathing, toileting and dressing
• Supporting morning routines
• Helping with exercise and other support tasks
• Preparing meals
• Running small errands
• Light cleaning & organising household

Work Schedule:
Approximately 15+ hours bi-weekly with potential for more. Typical shifts include:

• Tuesdays: : 7:00 AM - 12:00
• Thursdays: 7:00 AM - 12:00
• Saturdays: 8:00 AM - 13:00

Additional training and development opportunities, VHI and Pension schemes & Mileage allowance.
Compensation and Terms:

• Standard hourly rate: €15.39 - €17.11, with annual increases
• Rates before 8am and after 8pm: €19.24 per hour
• Sunday rate: €23.09 per hour
• Public Holiday rate: €30.78 per hour

Flexibility Note: Shift timings/days could be flexible and can be discussed further upon application.
