Quality Inspector

We are now recruiting for the position of Quality Inspector, to further enhance our offering to Clients. This position will be based at our Balbriggan facility. This is an excellent opportunity to build on your career, by becoming an integral part of our Quality team.
For the role of Quality Inspector, we seek an experienced individual to work within our Quality Team and assist in ensuring that all panels are inspected visually and dimensionally to agreed tolerances.
Key Responsibilities include:
  • Ensure all Post cast checks are carried out by conducting visual and measurement checks to finished units.
  • Ensure NCR’s are raised in an accurate and timely manner.
  • Ensure that vesting photographs are taken for all units produced.
  • Ensure the accurate extent of finished is marked clearly and legibly on each panel.
  • Work with other members of the Quality team and production personnel to reduce and eliminate non-conformances.
  • Utilise technology i.e. QC tablets, in driving a more efficient working ethos.
  • Responsible for the accurate creation and storage of QC records and drawings
  • Ensure you use all supplied Personal Protective Clothing and Equipment in a correct manner.
Ideally the successful candidate should possess the following:
  • 3rd Level qualification in Engineering/Construction - desirable.
  • Qualification in Lean Manufacturing ( Yellow or Green Belt) - desirable.
  • Excellent computer literacy.
  • 2+ years’ experience operating in a similar role.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Analytical thinker with demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure, prioritise and plan effectively within a strict deadline environment.
