Job Description:
Reach Truck Driver is required for Vac Pac Chill/Dispatch Department. The Reach Truck Driver will be responsible for performing various duties associated with Vac Pac Chill & Dispatch area. The role requires someone who works well in a fast-paced environment and can thrive under pressure. This is a full-time position with a permanent contract 40 hours per week. These hours can vary on occasion and some overtime and weekend work may be available.


Role and Responsibilities:
Carry out tasks within area of responsibility to meet daily output requirements
Safe operation of Reach Truck for the purpose of transporting orders and materials to designated areas within Despatch
Work off a daily schedule for deliveries and dispatch
Ensure all goods are loaded or unloaded matching the relevant paperwork
Store pallets in allocated areas using Reach Truck
Always Follow Health & Safety and Compliance processes including always wearing your correct PPE
Ensure the warehouse environment is always kept clean and tidy
Ensure efficient operations by adhering to operational procedures, rules and schedules
Assist with warehouse inventory controls, using handheld scanners
Loading / unloading and order picking accurately
Completion of forklift daily checks and reporting of any damage or issue relating to the safe operation of Reach Truck
Working in a cold environment
Assist with any adhoc duties as requested by your Supervisor/Line Manager


Requirements
Experience working in a warehouse
Experience driving a Forklift / Reach Truck is essential
Good verbal English and good communication skills
The ability to work as part of a team & ability to work under your own initiative
Flexible approach to working hours
Have a willingness to learn and develop yourself
