Refrigerated Trailer Mechanic

New Ross

We are currently recruiting for the position of Refrigerated Trailer Mechanic for maintenance of our extensive fleet. This role is based in our New Ross garage site and reports to the Garage Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair of refrigerated trailers.
  • Completion of relevant service records and other documentation.
  • Complying with garage health and safety standards.
  • Liaising with the garage administration team.
Requirements
  • Familiar with standard practices and procedure for repairing transport refrigeration units.
  • Strong knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Must be able to work under own initiative.
  • Enthusiastic and capable of working in a fast-moving environment.
Competitive salary for the successful candidate in addition to a Bonus Scheme.
40-hour week Monday to Friday with optional overtime on Saturday.
