Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and strategic Residential Care Director to oversee the overall management and strategic direction of our residential care facility. This role will involve working with children and teenagers, ensuring their care, safety, and development in a supportive and trauma-informed environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for the care facility.
- Develop and implement long-term plans to ensure the well-being, safety, and development of children and teenagers in care.
- Ensure compliance with all child welfare regulations and safeguarding policies.
- Work closely with community partners, government agencies, and families to support the needs of refugee children.
- Manage budgets, financial planning, and resource allocation effectively.
- Lead and mentor a management team, ensuring that staff are fully trained and supported.
- Implement best practices in trauma-informed care and work with professionals to provide holistic support to children and teenagers.
- Oversee crisis management and provide guidance on complex care needs.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Social Work, Child Development, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
- At least 5 years of leadership experience in child or youth care, with a focus on vulnerable populations or refugee services.
- Extensive knowledge of child protection policies, trauma-informed care, and refugee services.
- Proven experience in strategic planning, budgeting, and operational management.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and crisis management skills.
- Deep understanding of the unique needs of refugee children and teenagers.

Pay: From €40,000.00 per year
