The Role – Senior Library Assistant
The senior library assistant will work on current awareness, cataloguing circulation, library queries, training and assist with daily library tasks. This is an opportunity for the right candidate to get involved in all aspects of the library service.
Duties include:

Current awareness – legal updates and legislation tracking.

Library queries - responding to research requests information desk duties.
-
Training – assist with the delivery of training and training documentation.
-
Cataloguing book circulation, maintain department print collections.
-
Participation in library projects and services including working on metrics, archiving and special collections.

Library qualification and minimum 2 years’ experience working in a library.

Have strong IT skills including MS Office.

Background in law and/or previous experience in a legal library is an asset.

Have a flexible, efficient, enthusiastic and proactive approach to work.

Have strong organisational skills and ability to plan, prioritise, manage time and multiple priorities to meet deadlines.
