About the Role
This is a key strategic role for OTB. As we continue to grow and develop our content team we are currently inviting applications for a Senior Producer role in our expanding digital audio department.
We're seeking an experienced, creative and ambitious person who can lead the measurement and growth of our digital audio output. While initially this will be heavily focussed on the creation, production and delivery of short-form podcasts that dovetail with our long form pods, there are also big gains to be had in the amount of listening happening by subscribers and free to air on the OTB app.
As Senior Producer, you will be a content leader with responsibility for the creation and delivery of innovative content with impact. 
What You’ll Do

• Develop new digital audio products, with particular emphasis on complementary short-form pods. Develop concepts to promote these on social media and across live mentions etc...
• Put in place a process to track content performance - giving regular feedback to the senior leadership team.
• Deliver content related sponsorship and solutions campaigns for OTB's commercial partners. Working within an existing framework, with a close attention to detail, to ensure accurate delivery of commercial activity.
• Make courageous editorial decisions to strengthen Off The Ball's position as the go to brand for agenda setting sports content. Book the best guests and contributors while continuing to develop OTB's inhouse talent. 
• Use and adapt to new technology and platforms and media trends to ensure OTB stays ahead of the curve. 
• Manage staff rostering for the digital audio team, have a continuous recruitment and training process to ensure adequate freelance cover. Complete regular reviews for direct reports as per company guidelines.
• For advertiser funded programming manage the budget and any contributor payments.
• Contribute on air as required.
• Contribute to other areas of the business as requested by your line manager.

You have strong audio editing skills and experience with audio editing software

You are proficient in the workings of digital and social media
You are versatile and have the ability to adapt and engage in a dynamic and supportive team environment.
You have a strong interest in all sports, particularly Soccer, GAA & Rugby.
